Primary Purpose:
To serve as a Human Resource Manager within the Contract Research Organization (CRO). You will play a key role in overseeing and managing various human resources functions within the organization. This position involves providing strategic HR leadership, managing HR processes, and collaborating with leadership to create and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Over see the recruitment process, working with hiring managers to identify staffing needs. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate with senior management to shape and influence overall business strategies.
Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Employee Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires.
HR Record Maintenance: Assist in maintaining HR records and documentation.
Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive work culture.
Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring HR practices comply with legal requirements.
Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with 6-8 years experience is required -OR-
Master's Degree or equivalent Human Resources, Business or related field with 5 years' experience is required -OR-
Ph.D. or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field with 2 years experience is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
In depth understanding of HR principles and practices send employment laws.
Demonstrated success in driving HR initiatives and managing change.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.

Working Conditions:
This position is regularly performed in an in-person office environment, which means the physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards, with a moderate level of noise. Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis is expected. Minimal physical effort is required but could include: repetitive motion of wrists and fingers; talking and hearing; and handling of light materials and supplies. This position will require up to 25% travel.
