The Alisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Wrangler to join our team. This full-time seasonal position entails taking guests on trail rides and doing horseback riding lessons, in addition to performing general barn-related maintenance tasks, such as feeding horses, mucking, and other basic horse care.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid background in riding (including trail riding) 3-5 years.
- Prior customer service experience to provide guests outstanding, authentic, and memorable interactions.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Experience driving a tractor highly desired.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs.
- Able to work on site and to stand, sit, walk and move continuously for duration of shift
