ALISONDAMONTE is looking for an Intermediate to Senior Level Designer with experience in high-end residential projects to join our team. This is a full-time position in our San Francisco studio.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage design projects of varying scale and complexity, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Lead all project phases, from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and oversee design documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, fabricators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to designers, managing resource planning and identifying professional development opportunities.
- Scope and plan project milestones and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables.
- Collaborate with artists and artisans to develop custom design elements and bespoke works.
- Strong architectural and space-planning expertise, including custom millwork detailing and furniture systems integration (preferred but not required)
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture (can be substituted with experience)
- Minimum 4 years in interior design or architecture with a strong technical and design background
- Proven ability to manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, overseeing all phases, including schematic design, construction documentation, and administration.
- Experience with consultant coordination and construction administration (submittals, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response).
- Extensive knowledge sourcing from trade vendors and established relationships with custom fabricators
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, refined presentation abilities, and the capacity to effectively multitask across various projects.
