Job Summary:
Directs and coordinates activities of all Shared Services Departments and aids CEO in formulating and administering organizational policies by performing the outlined job duties personally or through subordinate managers. As a member of the operating board is accountable to the CEO and is responsible together with CEO for setting policy and performance standards for the operation of the organization systems.
Qualifications
Essential Functions:
- Develops and administers organizational policies related to all areas of operation under the Shared Services Division including facilities, human resources, and dietary.
- Actively participates with Executive Leadership in the formulation and execution of the strategic planning of the organization related to corporate structure, organizational management and development..
- Evaluates the results of Shared Services operations regularly and reports these results to the CEO.
- Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined, understood and carried out in a satisfactory manner.
- Directs Performance Improvement activities within the facility, providing reports as requested by the CEO, identifying important aspects of care, supervising collection and organization of data and developing performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Develops procedures and creates a working environment that promotes mutual respect, effective communication and adequate information flow throughout the organization.
- Evaluates efficiency and productivity of all Shared Service Departments on a routine basis to ensure that operations are functioning at optimal levels without unnecessary additions to staff.
- Achieves satisfactory budget oversight and monitoring to ensure that budgetary guidelines are maintained
- Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining company goals and objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current company conditions.
- Conducts regular surveys of the facility to ensure that all physical environment standards are being met.
- Completes performance reviews for direct line staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in management / administration, preferably at an executive Director level or up, at a healthcare facility, preferably in a behavioral health environment. Experience in human resources includes benefit administration, employee relations, and other essential HR actions required.
