Position Summary:
Directs, develops, coordinates and evaluates Virtual Outpatient Care growth and operations. Ensures coordination of efforts and assist with aligning strategic priority to support patient centered initiatives that promotes ongoing patient engagement in Meadows Services. Directs, develops, coordinates and evaluates initiatives for continuity of care within the Meadows national system of care to maximize continuity of care and continued patient engagement across Meadows levels of care between residential and outpatient. The director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Virtual Outpatient Program and assist with identifying, evaluating, implementing, and maintaining virtual care services that transform and/or enhances the way providers deliver care to patients.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for overseeing growth initiatives to retain Meadow's patients within the Meadows systems of care. Coordinates and facilitates activities between Meadow's service delivery business units to increase the percentage of transfer up and down the continuum of care from residential to outpatient and outpatient to residential levels of care.
- Evaluates the efficiency, productivity, and results of overall transfers between residential and outpatient levels of care and business units on a routine basis and systematically reports to the VP of the Patient Division.
- Responsible for application and implementation of the established policies and procedures in the operation of the virtual outpatient program ensuring conformance with and adherence to all corporate compliance requirements.
- Responsible for assisting in developing a comprehensive Virtual Outpatient Program and program delivery including but not limited to treatment of Drug and Alcohol, Trauma, and Co-occurring illnesses.
- Develops procedures and creates a working environment that promotes mutual respect, effective communication and adequate information flow.
- Evaluates the efficiency, productivity and financial results of overall operations of Virtual Outpatient Program on a routine basis and systematically reports to the VP of the Patient Division.
- Directs performance Improvement activities within the VIOP business, providing reports as requested to the VP of Outpatient Services, identifying important aspects of care, supervising collection and organization of data and developing performance improvement plans as necessary.
Qualifications
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Master's degree in business and/or behavioral science or related field
- State clinical license in good standing preferred
- Five years' experience in healthcare growth/business development and management/administration in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience in the drug and alcohol and/or mental health treatment field preferred
