Position Summary:
The System Administrator is responsible for the security, maintenance and upkeep of all Meadows related IT Infrastructure as well as assisting in the assessment of new technologies, services, and hardware for the company. As needed, the position will be expected to assist in and/or occasionally lead projects and initiatives to support the company’s continued growth and stability. In addition, they will be expected to assist in resolving tickets that have been escalated beyond the Tier 1 support queue and help educate the Tier 1 support team.
Responsibilities:
- Network Administration:
- Assist in the management and troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki and Cisco IOS/IOS-XE network devices.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring high availability and security.
- Support the implementation and configuration of Cisco Webex for collaboration and communication.
- Cloud and On-Premises Services:
- Assist in the administration of Azure Cloud Services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory (AD) infrastructure.
- Perform regular backup and disaster recovery operations for cloud and on-premises systems.
- Server Management:
- Support the administration of Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher environments.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
- Monitor server health and performance, applying patches and updates as needed.
- Scripting and Automation:
- Utilize PowerShell and/or Python for task automation and system management.
- Develop and maintain scripts to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
- Hardware Management:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Dell, EMC, Cisco, and Lenovo hardware.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair as needed.
- Patch Management:
- Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure systems are up to date and secure.
- Test and deploy patches for operating systems, applications, and network devices.
- Security Monitoring and Support:
- Ensure monitoring of alerts and logs from enterprise security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), anti-virus software, data loss prevention (DLP) tools, and vulnerability scanners.
- Support the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
- Play a supporting role in securing MBH systems and data from potential threats or compromises, including tasks related to vulnerability scanning, scheduling, and remediation.

Qualifications
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Actively pursuing technical degree/certification preferred.
- Preferred but not required certifications: Cisco CCT or CCNA, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, VMware VCP, GISF, Sec , Net
- Prefer 1 years of system administration, software development, security operations, or risk & governance.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki and Cisco IOS/IOS-XE.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and Windows Server environments.
- Understanding of Active Directory and VMware ESXi.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Dell, EMC, Cisco, and Lenovo hardware.
- Understanding of patch management processes and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
