Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall operations of the Outpatient Services. Will participate in the implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. In conjunction with and under the direct supervision of the Executive Director will give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy and mission.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for application and implementation of the established policies and procedures in the operation of the facility ensuring conformance with and adherence to all corporate compliance requirements.
- Responsible for assisting in developing a comprehensive outpatient program and program delivery.
- Develops procedures and creates a working environment that promotes mutual respect, effective communication and adequate information flow.
- Evaluates the efficiency, productivity, and results of overall operations of out patient program on a routine basis and systematically reports to the Executive Director.
- Directs Performance Improvement activities within the facility, providing reports as requested to the Executive Director, identifying important aspects of care, supervising collection and organization of data and developing performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Achieves satisfactory budget oversight and monitoring of all assigned departments to ensure that budgetary guidelines are maintained.
- Complete any special projects assigned by the Executive Director in a timely manner.
- Work with Licensing entities to secure appropriate facility license.
- Monitor risk and compliance with applicable State and Joint Commission regulations as well as applicable company policy.
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science or related field.
- State Clinical License in good standing.
- Ability, as defined through the BBS and California law, to provide clinical supervision preferred.
- Prefer five years experience in management/administration in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to make good decisions within assigned scope of authority.
- Ability to effectively supervise staff.
- Ability to control expenses.
- Ability to support and effectively collaborate with other departments to achieve results.
- Ability to plan ahead, and to prioritize and coordinate activities, services, schedules or programs.
- Ability to plan, assess, communicate, and develop employee performance.
