Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Enterprise Data Management architecture advisor , you will join a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering comprehensive and innovative Oracle Cloud solutions. Leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge, you will help clients optimize their internal business systems, streamline operations, and achieve their strategic objectives. Your day-to-day

• Lead requirements gathering, design sessions, and creation of requirements and design documents;
• Provide oversight and guidance to other team members to ensure EDM best practices are followed;
• Configure and implement Oracle Cloud Enterprise Data Management (EDM) for Cloud EPM and/or ERP deployments;
• Configure EDM to meet business requirements, including subscriptions, node type converters, approval policies, derived properties, and custom validations;
• Configure EDM to meet security requirements, including the setup of groups, roles, and permissions;
• Initialize EDM hierarchies from system extracts and various offline sources (spreadsheets);
• Configure inbound and outbound integrations to EDM along with automation using technologies such as EPM Automate, REST API, Groovy, PowerShell, and batch/shell scripting;
• Prepare and execute unit testing and integration testing scripts;
• Support user acceptance testing and provide remediation to issues;
• Create EDM administration and migration documentation;
• Prepare and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to both business and IT groups.
  
  

Keys to your success

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, finance, accounting or a closely related field;
• Minimum of 1 certification in Oracle EPM Cloud products (EDM preferred);
• Minimum 8 years of relevant data management experience (data integrations, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality);
• Previous DRM and/or EDM implementation experience (minimum of 2 to 3 implementations preferred);
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid software development life cycles;
• Experience in training client administrators and end users;
• Strong understanding of EDM information model and data chain, dimensionality and attributes as it relates to Oracle EPM Cloud applications, and data governance concepts and principles;
• Proficiency in EPM Automate, REST API, automated integrations with EDM, Windows batch scripting and PowerShell;
• Working knowledge of relational databases and ETL solutions;
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
• Ability to show a sense of urgency and commitment to quality towards the timely completion of projects, as well as to lead and provide oversight across multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to articulate solutions clearly, as well as to communicate effectively with client business and IT organizations.

• Experience in any other master data management tools;
• EDM experience in both Cloud ERP and EPM implementations;
• System administration experience in Hyperion Planning or Essbase applications.
