Position Overview

As a Medical Front Office Specialist , you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support . You will ensure smooth daily operations, assist patients with scheduling, and maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment.

Requirements : Key Responsibilities

Patient Interaction & Front Desk Support

  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism , ensuring a welcoming experience.
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments , and assist with patient inquiries.
  • Verify patient insurance information, collect co-pays, and process payments .
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with check-in / check-out procedures .

Administrative & Office Coordination

  • Assist in managing provider schedules , ensuring smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  • Prepare and organize patient documents, forms, and referrals .
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams to support efficient clinic operations .
  • Insurance & Billing Support

  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Assist with basic billing inquiries and direct complex issues to the billing department.
  • Ensure all patient data and documentation are up to date in the system.
  • Qualifications & Experience

    Education & Certification

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in a medical front office or administrative role (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Level One Fingerprint Card (Required)
  • Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bilingual candidates are a plus!
  • Experience with EHR systems (Electronic Health Records)
  • Knowledge of insurance verification & medical billing
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
