What are the responsibilities and job description for the F/T Clinical Therapist-PHP/IOP/OP position at Aliya Health Group?
Position: Clinical Therapist | M-F 8:30am-5pm | 1 afternoon 12pm-8:30pm shift per week
The Clinical Therapist provides therapy services including group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and biopsychosocial assessments for new admissions. Completes all documentation accordingly and within mandated timeframes.
Job Duties:
· The Clinical Therapist facilitates group counseling in accordance with the established clinical program either via Implementation of existing curriculum or integration of curriculum of choice with identified clinical treatment modality specific to adults with SUD’s or Mental Health Diagnoses
· The Clinical Therapist will have the ability to manage a caseload of 12-14 individual patients at various Levels Of Care (LOC), ie. PHP, IOP, and OP, with individual sessions and corresponding DAP note, ASAMS, Treatment Plans
· The Clinical Therapist completes biopsychosocial assessments for new admissions
· The Clinical Therapist completes ASAM Reviews for UR Review
· The Clinical Therapist establishes and maintains knowledge regarding documentation with the electronic medical records system: Sun Wave
· The Clinical Therapist establishes treatment plans and determines the appropriate length of stay based on the clinical needs of the client
· The Clinical Therapist will collect and prepare data as requested by the Clinical Director/Executive Director
· The Clinical Therapist attends and participates in continuing education opportunities to maintain and expand knowledge.
· The Clinical Therapist maintains and obtains all appropriate credentials regarding substance abuse counseling and mental health licensure
· The Clinical Therapist collaborates with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/ PA to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients
· The Clinical Therapist facilitates family programing/ sessions as necessary
· The Clinical Therapist will understand the interconnectedness of co-occurring disorders and is knowledgeable of various therapeutic interventions to treat these disorders
· The Clinical Therapist ensures and abides by all regulatory standards pertaining to federal, state, and local regulations
· The Clinical Therapist engages and participates in weekly and group supervision
Requirements:
· Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counselor Candidate
· Valid CO LPCC, MSW, MFT
· Valid Licensure: LPC, LCSW, LAC
· Valid CO driver’s license and auto insurance
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Effective time management to balance priorities of workflow and submission of documentation
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
· Able to work collaboratively with multiple health and criminal justice professionals using tact, diplomacy, and discipline
· Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
· Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other personnel
· Clinical knowledge pertaining to substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, as well as trauma-specific populations
