MDS Consultant Description:
- Attends weekly meetings and provide oversight on reimbursement processes in the facility (CMI / Medicare), tracking CMI / PDPM on an ongoing basis
- Assist the building in documentation practices that ensure appropriate reimbursement
- Ongoing training/education MDS/Restorative Nurses
- Audit MDS assessments for accuracy on an ongoing basis
- Oversight of Quality Measures
- Ensure best practices/compliance with all State and Federal regulations
- Other special projects depending on facility need
Requirements
- Must be able to manage multiple facilities and wiling to travel/visit facilities in the Chicagoland area
- Must possess, a RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
- Must have, as a minimum, 2 years of experience in a corporate MDS/consultant role.
