🔑 What You’ll Do: As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our AR processes. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Handling construction billing and AIA documentation with precision.
- Managing and distributing customer statements in a timely manner.
- Following up on collections, using your strong communication and problem-solving skills to maintain positive relationships.
- Assisting with monthly closings, including journal entries and customer statement reconciliations.
- Navigating Arizona Prompt Pay Statute regulations, preliminary notice filings, and lien waiver rules.
- Processing TPT (Transaction Privilege Tax) for Arizona construction contracts.
- Collaborating with the accounting team on various projects to support overall financial health.
📝 What You Bring:
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience, specifically in the heavy construction industry.
- Expertise in Arizona Prompt Pay Statute, preliminary notice filings, lien waiver rules, and mechanic’s lien waivers.
- Proficiency with construction billing and AIA documentation.
- Strong collections experience with the ability to build relationships and achieve results.
- Familiarity with Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel (minimum 1 year).
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
- Heavy data entry and research experience with keen attention to detail.
- Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong customer relationships.
