Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Flex Security Guard with open availability 7 days a week to join our team in Portland. This role requires flexibility, as you will be working various shifts, including weekends and holidays. As part of your duties, you will be assigned to stationary posts as well as vehicle patrols. The ideal candidate must have a clean driving record and be able to operate company vehicles safely while maintaining the security and safety of client properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly patrol designated areas, both on foot and via vehicle, to maintain a secure environment.
• Perform access control duties, such as checking IDs and verifying credentials.
• Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, taking immediate and appropriate action.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Follow company protocols for emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
• Ensure vehicle patrols are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and company guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus, but not required.
• Must have open availability 7 days a week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Clean driving record is required (must be able to operate company vehicles safely).
• Washington State Guard Card must be current and active.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond to incidents for extended periods of time.
