Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas after meals.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated places.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in cleaning tasks during off-peak hours to maintain a tidy work environment.
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
