The Continuous Improvement Manager will:
- Responsible to receive, ship, and service materials throughout the Plant according to SFC policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for wrapping rolls on the wrapping machine
- Responsible for palletizing rolls based on customer guidelines
- Responsible for keeping track of packaging supplies and letting the supervisor know when such supplies need re-ordering
- Supplying the inspection lines with cores
- Assist with “ End of Month Inventories”
- Develops and maintains accurate and punctual methods in receiving and shipping products, supplies and raw materials.
- Performs actions in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs needed housekeeping and organization of assigned work area (i.e. critical function of this position).
- Performs required accurate / precise inventories as directed by Supervisor.
- Supports and implements SFC policies, work instructions and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as directed by Purchasing Manager.
Other:
- Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
- Must be able to work extended hours when required
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience.
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing desired, but not required.
- Attention to detail.
- Good math and reading skills.
- Ability to follow directions and specifications.
- Ability to lift 50-lbs regularly.
- Must be available to work extended hours when required
