Position Description: Associate Personal Lines Account Executive (New York, NY)The Associate Personal Lines Account Executive contributes to the Personal Lines team through servicing clients, handling processes and internal activities, and providing direction on new/renewal business. This person will work under the direction of the Executive Vice President.
Please Note:This position is on-site (five [5] days per week) at the address: 505 Park Ave, New York, NY 10022We are looking for someone who has 4 years of Personal Lines Account Management-level experience (at an independent insurance brokerage)The annual pay range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000; while this range is extensive, it reflects the varying requirements based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and coverage knowledge
Duties/ResponsibilitiesContributes his/her industry knowledge on complex accounts in specific lines of business which have been assignedHandles daily functions on assigned accounts, e.g., processing paperwork for new and renewal businessHandles duties like submitting applications, processing certificates of insurance, processing endorsements, handling finance agreements, and processing binder requestsMaintains client files and shows excellent attention-to-detail and organizational skillsDemonstrates excellent follow-through and communication (verbal and written) with clients, carrier representatives, and internal team membersDocument activities in Agency Management System (e.g., Applied Epic)Collaborates to gather the information and risk management recommendations for the new business or renewal business of designated accounts 90-120 days prior to renewal and for delivering renewals and/or binders for designated accounts, as needed, within five days of receipt.Conducts periodic service calls, and in-person meetings with designated accounts.
RequirementsRequired Skills/AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and OutlookMaintain Property & Casualty license.Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.Familiar with company management system preferredStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to successfully interact at all company levels while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality in a team environment.Can multitask in a complex working environment with accuracy and proficiency.Possess excellent customer service and organizational skills with the knowledge and experience necessary for independent decision making.Must represent brokerage in professional manner
