We are looking to add more dog lovers to our team and growing business! Located in Galloway, OH Alkire Kennels has been serving the community for over 15 years. What started as a small, family run business has grown in to a locally owned, 45 Kennel, country paradise for dogs while their owners' are away. Each dog that comes through our doors is loved and treated like family.
The job entails, but is not limited to:
-General dog care: exercising, feeding, medicating (we do not give injectable medications!), cleaning, bathing, etc.
-Cleaning & sanitizing building multiple times day
-Office work: greeting clients, assisting with check in and check out, filing, vet record verification, answering phone calls and emails, general office work as needed.
Job Requirements:
-Being able to work outside in all weather conditions. Our dogs receive a minimum of 3 exercise breaks a day in our large, fenced in yards.
-Dependable. This is not a job where it is easy to call off. We have lives depending on us each and every day.
-Experience working with animals is a plus, but the right candidate can be trained. A love of dogs is a MUST !!!
-We board all different breeds, sizes and behaviors so comfortability with dogs is a must.
Schedule: Weekends and holidays required!
-Shift Times: Morning Shift 7am-3pm (7am-12pm Saturdays and 7am-11am Sundays) Afternoon Shift 3PM-9PM (2-8:30 on weekends)
-Flexibility in schedule is preferred.
