Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated caregiver to provide in-home care for a child with autism. The caregiver will be responsible for providing care during mornings, evenings, and weekends. This position is ideal for someone with experience in caregiving or a related field and who can create a nurturing and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily routines and activities.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with school-related tasks during mornings.
- Engage the child with activities that promote learning and development.
- Support during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Transport the child as required for appointments, school, or activities.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with autism, is preferred.
- Ability to exhibit patience, understanding, and compassion.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
