Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and strategies to promote positive behaviors and skill development.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with the data collection of client progress
- Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as necessary
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and behavior observations
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to work effectively with children and adults with diverse needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
