Checking in patients.
Verifying all information is updated and accurate.
Confirming insurance prior to arrival.
Answering phones and checking email & voicemails throughout the day.
Running reports at the end of the day.
Optometric duties include
Working up patients prior to them seeing the doctor.
Running all pretesting machines.
Keeping contact room stocked.
Assisting with front desk duties in downtime.
Assisting in contact lens insertion and removal training.

Qualifications
- Medical administrative support experience
- Proficient in EHR systems, including Epic and Meditech
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT coding
- Excellent patient service and customer service skills
- Experience with medical records management and front desk operations
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical collection processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.95 - $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
