Experienced Garage Door Installer

Veteran owned, team-oriented business seeking experienced, dependable garage door installer. 2 years experience with installs needed. We honor our military service members, and there is a signing bonus for prior military. This is a fast-paced position with an excellent work environment where customer service and excellent work quality is a priority. We are looking for someone mature and reliable that desires to grow in their experience and skill level and works with a can-do mentality. MUST have a valid drivers license. Company truck will be provided for work use. References requested and will be checked.

Summary

As a Garage Door Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors. Reporting to the installation supervisor, you will utilize core skills such as door hanging, heavy lifting, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Your premium skills in glass installation and welding will enhance your capabilities in this role. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge will ensure precise and efficient installations. A valid driver's license is required to travel to job sites and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair garage doors using hand and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform heavy lifting and door hanging tasks, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately assess installation requirements.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites and maintain a clean work environment.
• Drive to various job locations, ensuring timely arrival and efficient service delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
