We are a childcare center located in Hilliard, Ohio. We have been serving private pay families for over seven years. We believe that children learn best through play with Creative Curriculum, and compassionate, attentive teachers in a safe, nurturing environment. Our state-of-the-art building was constructed with children and staff in mind featuring classrooms for 6 weeks up to 6th grade. We pride ourselves on smaller class sizes with focused age groups. We're a large childcare center that helps develop the smallest minds. Our current teachers rock, but we need more!

We need a rockstar Teacher who has a reputation for being compassionate and reliable. After all, children do learn best from consistency.

• You must love working with children and understand that kids make messes, learn from mistakes, and flourish when shown empathy and compassion.
• You love making lesson plans and being creative- hence, Creative Curriculum
• You have a great attitude, love to have fun at work, and thrive on the unexpected
• You take pride in your professional personal appearance, attitude, and classroom appearance
• You understand the value of others trusting you with their most prized possessions, and treat them as such
• You work well with others and are happy to take the lead in your classroom
• You are willing to learn and follow ODJFS licensing rules (spoiler alert- we never stop learning)

You will be responsible for:

• Keeping children safe
• Engaging with children
• Creating and executing lesson plans
• Assisting children with toileting and/or diaper changes
• Following ODJFS licensing rules
• Sending daily reports and pictures via Tadpoles
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development days

• If you don't know something, ask!
• You must have a GED or high-school diploma
• You must have experience with children
• You must be willing to learn Tadpoles
• You must be able to communicate with parents at pick-up and/or drop-off times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
