What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician position at All About Pets Veterinary Center?
All About Pets Veterinary Center is seeking a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician but would consider part time as well. We are a growing companion animal (dog / cat) veterinary clinic in West Omaha performing examinations, diagnostics, ill patient care, client education, wellness, vaccinations, surgery, and dentistry with no boarding and no overnights. We are a small, privately owned / non corporate clinic and we strive to offer a more personal veterinary experience for our clients and patients as their primary care veterinarian. We utilize Avimark practice management software and have full in house lab but do utilize send out reference labs. We have digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray.
The right candidate will have a mature but easy going nature, the ability to learn quickly, multi-task, work well and communicate well with doctors and other staff and communicate well with clients. Some experience is preferred but encourage new Vet Tech graduates to apply. We offer regular days (same day of the week) off but some flexibility is desired. Some Saturday availability is needed on a rotating basis or can be offered on a regular basis if you prefer it.
