Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of swimming pools, ensuring they are safe and enjoyable for our clients. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemicals as needed to maintain safe swimming conditions.
- Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters for proper operation and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, including work performed and any recommendations for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working on-site at client locations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in maintenance tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
