The job
Our PDI Technician position is a key part of our Quality and Logistics team. The PDI process ensures that our customers receive flawless products and experience from All Access Equipment.
In this position, our PDI Technicians are responsible for performing pre-delivery inspections with excellence. The technician inspects, measures, and adjusts the equipment to make sure it meets every aspect of our predefined standards. The technician will log their progress and make notes of any failures and correct them if possible. The skills required for this job are similar to that of a mechanical assembly technician in that you will need basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computer skills.
PDI Technicians work closely with the rest of the service team, especially our Aerial Lift Service Technicians.

Job Responsibilities
Fully executing pre-delivery inspections of the machines before they are delivered to the customer
Log all inspection and other data in our computerized tracking system
Participate in shop activities as needed: cleaning, organizing, moving equipment, etc.,
Occasional transport of equipment to other locations using company vehicles
Understanding the components of the machine and how they should optimally function
Ensure top notch quality control and maintaining a high level expectation of our product
Perform diagnostic tests and write accurate reports at final inspection

Requirements
- Reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams, and machine specifications
- Must have experience in working with hand tools
- Experienced with detailed blueprints and diagrams
- Must be patient and able to work on a single task for a long period of time while focused on the job at hand
- Must be a team player as well as an independent worker
- Strong computer skills
- Must be comfortable working on lifts and being at heights of 60-105’
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit, stand, bend
Desired Qualifications
- Hydraulic experience a plus
- Prior experience in aerial lift, hydraulic equipment, fork trucks, loaders, or other construction equipment industries a plus
- OSHA 10 or other jobsite safety training
