Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. For work on commercial and residential garage doors, hollow metal doors and dock equiment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance person skills and be proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of garage doors and their components. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors, openers, and related hardware.
- Diagnose issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety of garage doors.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely while adhering to industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Assist with additional maintenance person tasks as needed, including but not limited to:
- - Remodeling projects - Fabrication of custom parts
- Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong maintenance person skills with experience in carpentry and metal working
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
