What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Scheduling Coordinator position at All Ages Home Care Services?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task. The Medical Scheduler will serve as a point of contact for clients and caregivers, offering exceptional customer services while coordinating visits. Experience with Excel & data entry is required. Key Responsibilities:
· Answer all incoming phone calls and emails
· Verifying client information and insurance details
· Input monthly schedules for all clients and corresponding caregivers
· Make necessary changes/adjustments to client schedules
· Verify shifts with incorrect/missing clock in/out times and making necessary adjustments to caregiver’s scheduled visits.
· Schedule all new caregiver orientations (either in the office or by phone if out of town)
· Scheduling hands-on classes for completion of caregiver PCA licensing
· Scheduling drug screens for all new caregivers
· Emailing CPR & First Aid instructions to caregivers
· Complete New Caregiver Charts
· Run Background Checks on all caregivers
· Run Child & Adult Maltreatments on all caregivers
· Apply for a Medicaid PIN for each new caregiver or verify active PIN
· Receive and process all new client referrals
· Send out incident report forms to caregivers for completion if an incident has occurred, submit it to Case Manager and file in client chart
· Maintaining compliance on all caregiver charts and monitoring caregiver annual training

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
