ABOUT ALL-AMERICAN EXPOSURE CAMP

The All-American Exposure Camp (AAE Camp) is an invite-only camp that offers athletes National Exposure, Football Training, and Life Skill Sessions for middle and high school athletes. Our respected media partners video and create exposure content for athletes attending the Showcase.

At AAE Camp, athletes learn from the best NFL, college and high school coaches to drastically improve their game. Participating in position-specific drills (QBs, RBs, WR/TEs, OLs, DLs, LBs, and DBs) and showcasing their talents by facing off against other top-tier athletes in one-on-ones, there is no better place to show out than at AAE Camp.

ABOUT THE POSITION


FOOTBALL EXPOSURE CAMP COACH

We are looking for football coaches who attack each day with enthusiasm for the sport and the opportunity to inspire youth players, unlocking their personal best. These coaches possess the ability to communicate and connect with a variety of ages, interests, and skill levels while approaching each day's unique challenges with energy, and patience. We provide the training, football curriculum & camp schedules along with all equipment for a successful camp day but need you to bring camp to life with your enthusiasm, dedication and un-matched energy.

AAE Camp Coaching positions are temporary positions under the supervision of head coaches. Head coaches work with assistant coaches and Intern coaches. All AAE Camp Coaches are exposed to all facets of the profession, including, but not limited to recruiting, film editing and review, game planning, conducting drills and workouts and operations.


The AAE Camp series runs a 4-hour camp day. The camp runs 7am-11am for middle school athletes and 12pm-4pm for high school athletes. The camps are held on Saturdays with occasional Sunday dates. The Camp Series begins in January - June/July. The AAE National 3-Day Camp is held June/July in Atlanta, Georgia.


AAE Camp is currently seeking football coaches in the following city, states and surrounding areas for future camp dates:

  • Florida (Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, Tallahassee)
  • California (Los Angeles, Oakland, San Francisco, Stockton, Sacramento)
  • Kentucky (Louisville, Lexington)
  • Nevada (Las Vegas, Reno)
  • Ohio (Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus)
  • Tennessee (Memphis, Knoxville, Nashville)
  • Virginia (Richmond, Norfolk, Virginia Beach)
  • North Carolina (Charlotte, Durham)


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Must pass a background check.
  • Ability to embrace AAE CAMP's mission.
  • Experience playing and/or coaching football (2 years at a competitive level - high school, college and beyond - viewed favorably).
  • Experience working with children in a camp, school or sport setting (2 years preferred). Passionate about football and making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
  • Diligent, reliable and willing to learn.
  • High professional and ethical standards for handling highly confidential materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written communications, presentation skills, personal demeanor, judgment, and diplomacy).
  • Ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, to walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt-covered fields, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Position requires the ability to move about the campus.
  • Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instruction ability to frequently convey detailed or important instructions and ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing.
  • Exert up to 50 pounds for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Work is indoors and outdoors.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed to adhering to the AAE CAMP's Cell-Phone Free policy, powering down and putting away cell phones for the duration of your shift.
  • Must have completed OR be willing to complete an online training course to comply with Sports Concussion law (proof of completion required) https://nfhslearn.com/courses/concussion-in-sports-2 (or similar course)
  • Must complete USA Football's Youth Tackle Coach Certification module

  • CPR/AED certification preferred.
  • Mentor, coach and guide a team of campers through pre-written football curriculum and game play, fostering a respectful and positive atmosphere, while engaging campers. throughout the day with high energy, integrity and passion.
  • Nurture physical, social & emotional safety of all campers by consistently implementing all camp protocols, forming connections with each camper within your group and fostering a supportive team environment.
  • Represent the AAE Camp professionally and respectfully throughout all facets of your day to campers, parents, site and facility partners and any guests you encounter while on the clock and in uniform.
  • Must have own transportation to/from football camps and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High school or collegiate football coaching experience required.
  • Must have strong desire and ability to work with and develop children ages 11-18.
  • Must have clear understanding, knowledge and passion for football with the ability to coach at least one position on both offense and defense.
  • Assist the Summer Camp Head Coach & Camp Director with coaching football fundamentals at camps.
  • Plan and design coaching techniques for specific position groups.
  • Conduct own drill work with varying age groups ranging from ages 11-18.
  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of the field while ensuring requisite supplies are available during practices and games.
  • Involvement of the daily on-site camp registration process, including but not limited to, check-in, waiver collection, t-shirt and name tag distribution.
  • Ensure camper safety and monitor their activities.
  • Set up takedown of camp equipment.
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines.
  • Enforce safety rules; notifying proper personnel when field maintenance is required, and/or recognize any hazardous situations that would be reported to the Camp Head Coach & Camp Director.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
