Job Summary
The Fire Sprinkler Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within various facilities. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to test the functionality of fire sprinkler fittings and components.
- Document inspection results accurately and prepare detailed reports for clients.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field, including fire alarm technicians, to ensure comprehensive safety assessments.
- Maintain knowledge of NFPA 25 as it pertains to fire protection systems.
- Provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades based on inspection findings.
Qualifications
- Nicet 2 or North Carolina State License a must.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with field service operations related to fire protection systems.
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler inspections is preferred.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and their integration with sprinkler systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
