Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide medication reminders and assistance. Plan and prepare nutritious meals, assisting with feeding if necessary. Perform light housekeeping tasks like laundry, dusting, dishwashing, and vacuuming. Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities. Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed. Monitor and report changes in clients' physical condition, behavior, or environment to supervisors. Follow all state and organizational regulations and policies.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hiring). Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
