Position Overview :
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple payroll software platforms and strong proficiency in Google Sheets . This role requires precision, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of payroll compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including home health aides, caregivers, and administrative staff.
- Utilize payroll software platforms such as ADP, Paychex, Viventium, and QuickBooks for accurate payroll management.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and hours worked.
- Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee payroll data.
- Prepare and distribute W-2s, payroll tax filings, and other required documents.
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR and management to ensure accurate reporting of benefits, PTO, and other compensation-related data.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll tax regulations.
- Generate reports and analyze payroll data using Google Sheets for audits and internal use.
