All American Marine is hiring full-time Marine Paint/Coating Technicians to join our dynamic team in Bellingham, WA, to build custom, high-quality, new construction vessels in a state-of-the-art, indoor facility.
Job Details:
- Position: Marine Paint/Coatings Technician
- Location: Bellingham, WA (Zip Code: 98225)
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or swing shift, depending on the needs of the project. Must be flexible working irregular shift times and weekends when needed.

- Job Duties:
- Using masking materials to protect non-painted surfaces of the vessel.
- Garnit blasting 60-100 foot-long aluminum catamarans.
- Perform sandblasting on areas to be coated and reclaim sand.
- Apply and sand body filler as directed.
- Read and understand Technical data sheets.
- Ability to use commercial airless to apply protective and high build primers.
- Effectively mix 2-3 component paints to manufacturer specifications.
- Referencing drawings to apply vinyl boat names and numbers.
- Depending on experience, prime and paint vessels using a pressure pot HVLP system and/or airless sprayers.
- Using random orbital sanders on high build to provide a smooth finish.
- Apply vinyl stencils and decals.

- Qualifications:
- Experience in marine painting or a related field preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) use is a plus.

Pay Scale (Based on experience and skill level):
- Level 1: $19 - $26/hour full benefits
- Level 2: $24 - $32/hour full benefits
- Level 3: $30 - $38/hour full benefits
