CASHIER
Duties:
Provides fast and friendly check out services for customers.- Assists customers with questions about store
- Scans and/or weighs products during the checkout process
- Handles cash and other forms of payment properly
- Maintains a neat and clean work area
- Restocks register supplies
- Performs “go-backs” of returned or abandoned merchandise
- Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so
- Other duties as assigned
Abilities:
Good customer service skills. Able to read, write and perform basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction).
Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 lbs, work includes standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
