Description
Food truck jobs include a variety of tasks, such as driving, cooking, serving, and cleaning.
The Food Truck Cook takes and prepares guests' orders and maintains the cleanliness and organization of the food truck. The trucks operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Driving
- Driving the food truck to events and locations
- Maneuvering, parking, and setting up and breaking down the truck
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Cooking Preparing food for events, Day-to-day preparation and cooking, and Running the line.
Serving Taking orders, Serving food and beverages to customers, Preparing checks, and Inviting customers back.
Cleaning the inside and outside of the truck, cleaning kitchen work areas, and stocking the service window area with supplies.
Other responsibilities
- Organizing and stocking the truck
- Maintaining food quality and consistency
- Ensuring food safety
- Monitoring and operating generator and propane tank
- Replenishing truck fuel
- Keeping records of waste, supplies, and purchases
- Working with other staff members
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Serve-Safe certification
- Food service experience
- Supervisory experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record

The applicant must be able:
1. Lift 50 lbs.
2. Stand for long hours at a time.
3. Climb stairs regularly.
The starting pay is $14/hr. plus tips. Tips are paid daily.
