Job Summary :
The Financial Analyst supports continuous improvement in sales, cost, inventory, and cash flow performance. This role serves as a financial resource for the Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Demand Planning teams, identifying trends and developments in competitive environments and communicates results to management. The role reports directly to the Senior FP&A Manager.
Essential Functions :
- Provide financial analysis to support sound operational decisions, considering all variables and P&L implications
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, recommending continuous improvement opportunities and communicating results
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to create forecasts and identify risks and opportunities
- Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with standard costing
- Serve as a financial business partner to the Demand Planning and Sourcing team
- Develop financial models in support of business development
- Contribute to the annual budget process
- Represent Finance on teams aimed at improving operations and reducing costs
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects, leveraging financial expertise and business knowledge
- Continuously improve financial reports, processes, and tools to maximize effectiveness and value
