The Product Development Intern works on the Research and Development team that is responsible for the design and development of Riddell products. Responsibilities will include supporting the daily activities and projects of the R&D team as well as taking on at least one major project during the internship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)
- Gather research on a subject / project and create summary report for engineering team.
- Familiarity with Solidworks, Rhino 3D, Creo, or similar 3D software.
- Test functional prototypes to verify design intent through virtual or physical methods.
- Enter and analyze data using Microsoft Excel, Word.
- Work closely with our mechanical engineers and industrial designers to conceptualize new product ideas.
