What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Quality position at All American Sports Corporation?
The Quality Assurance Intern assists with quality standards by assisting the Quality Manager & Quality Specialist on performing various inspection procedures on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. This position helps ensure that products meet or exceed internal requirements and customer standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)
- Conducts visual and measurement quality tests per corporate standards, specifications, and codes.
- Performs quality tests using a wide variety of inspection/test equipment including, but not limited to: dial calipers, hardness, pin and thread gauges, and tensile testing equipment.
- Keeps testing/measurement equipment in working order following operating instructions/manuals.
- Documents inspection results and enters, maintains, or updates data in required logs/spreadsheets.
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment by adhering to company rules and policies and complying with legal regulations.
- Communicates information on quality trends and issues to immediate supervisor.
- Assists with simple engineering projects when required.
- Prepares and provides required reports/documentation for internal and external audits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Degree or equivalent required.
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Quality Assurance) or related field or an equivalent.
- Strong Knowledge for MS Office applications, primarily Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to learn and understand basic standard quality tools, sampling techniques, ASQ procedures, and NOCSAE and Compression Deflection testing.
- Passion for sports, primarily Football.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
Salary : $13 - $18
