All American Waste is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 depending on experience.

Position Summary :

The Residential Driver is responsible for the collection of residential household waste or recyclable material. The Residential Driver will safely maneuver a heavy-duty truck in residential environments as well as transport the material to a disposal, transfer, or recycle facility when trucks reach legal load capacity.

Your Role :

• Operates vehicles by Life Critical Rules, Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and documents checks utilizing the standards Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR).
• Immediately report all unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by the Company.
• Works closely with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notifies the Route Manager or Dispatch of any incidents, accidents, injuries, property damage, service interruptions, or customer requests.
• Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
• Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and check-out process.
• Performs all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
• Works with leadership to implement strategies for community and municipal outreach.
• Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
