At All Around Adventures we treat pets like their family's do. We are expanding and are excited to offer even more dog walking and pet sitting services.

We are in the peace of mind business; we provide peace of mind for pet parents that are working or travelling. We visit their home to take care of their pets and home. This includes taking dogs for walks (or sometimes cats), feeding meals, giving medications, scooping litterboxes, cleaning up pet messes, and giving lots of TLC and belly rubs. For the clients that are traveling we also collect mail, take the trash out and water plants as necessary.

Driving to these appointments, checking in with our mobile app, writing nice informative updates to pet parents with pictures so that they know how their pet is doing is part of the day to day job.

About the job: We are looking for part-time staff, 2 to 4 days a week with hours varying from 2 to 8 hours in a day. Holidays and 1 Weekend per month are required and hours vary depending on client scheduling. Someone who is trust worthy and has had hands on experience caring for pets with provided references. Being able to travel within our service area of Missoula, able to commit to at least 6 months of employment, and undergo and pass a background check. Lastly someone who is willing to treat furry clients as their own family's do and can walk for extended periods of time. This is a strenuous job where we walk in all weather conditions with dogs that don't always walk loosely on a leash.

Streamlined communication by managing your whole job from your phone from clocking in, to messaging clients and staff. We run a relaxed work environment; we have no need to “dress up” since we are active throughout the day. With us, you are an employee, not an independent contractor. Which means you are covered under our liability insurance, bonding and workers’ compensation.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Registered and insured vehicle
• 3 Weekends per month and Tuesdays are required
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Previous pet experience
• Based within our service area of Missoula, Montana
• Smart phone with photo, video and GPS capability
• Please only apply if you are able to possibly commit to all 12 months of the year
• Weekends and holiday hours are required
• Ability to be outside in all types of weather, rain or shine those dogs need to get out! (We do have restrictions and safety measures for both staff and pets when it comes to weather)
• Must ADORE animals!
• Must be able to pass a background check. Employment offers are contingent on a successful completion of a background check.

Job Description:

• Walking dogs small to large on leash for 15 minutes up to 1 hour.
• Driving from one clients home to the next.
• Clocking in on our mobile app.
• Writing pet report cards for each pet that you see.
• Cleaning litterboxes, feeding pets and picking up messes, being able to administer different types of medication and understanding basic animal behavior
• Hours vary from 1 hour up to 6 hours in a day and are dependent on clients booking appointments.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
