Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various types of equipment. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing reliable delivery services while maintaining the integrity of the products transported.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances and equipment to customer locations.
• Assemble and install appliances as needed upon delivery, ensuring proper functionality.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from customers during the delivery process.
• Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks as required, utilizing mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Read and interpret schematics related to electrical components of delivered products.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each shipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or equipment repair is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Prior experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in completing delivery documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $160.00 per day

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
