Lead Fire Alarm Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. This role requires a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, field service experience, and the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
• Utilize CAD software for system design and layout planning.
• Diagnose issues with alarm systems using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire alarms and security systems.

Skills

• Proficient in field service operations with hands-on experience in alarm system installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings for system design purposes.
• Skilled in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Experience in fire alarm sales is a plus but not required.

Pay: $30.82 - $32.94 per hour
