What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Baseball Coach position at All Around Sports?
We are seeking a dynamic Youth Baseball Coach who thrives in fun, and non-competitive introduction to sports.
How competitive or recreational is this position? Just the basics. Have to be happy and fun. Non competitive
How much experience should a coach have? Siblings or working with small children. Needs to know the basics of baseball and t-ball and be creative in the ways they teach the sport
What kind of culture or mentality is necessary for a coach in this role? Fun, goofy, supportive
Job Details:
- South Atlanta
- Expected hours: 10-20 hours/per week
- Mandatory 8:30am to 12:30am on Saturdays. Optional Tuesdays 4pm to 7pm
- ***Car is required
Our ideal candidate:
- Strong background in working with children
- We are looking for someone who will take initiative, is self-motivated, and is willing to work hard
- *Must have a car
Odds/Ends:
- Travel between classes is mandatory so prospective coaches need to have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
- Training and equipment will be provided.
- Background in playing sports is strongly preferred, but it's most important that our coaches love working with young children!
- Experience in a classroom setting is preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
