What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Basketball Coach position at All Around Sports?
We are seeking a dynamic Youth Basketball Coach who thrives in early childhood group settings, providing young children with an engaging, fun, and non-competitive introduction to sports. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a talent for organizing sports and physical activities that foster physical literacy and social skills.
Job Details:
- Indianapolis and surrounding areas (within 35 minutes away)
- Expected hours: 25-30 per week
- Most times from 9 -noon and 2-5pm
- ***Car is required
Our ideal candidate:
- Strong background in working with children
- This role will transition to more of a managerial role handling more of the day-to-day operations, marketing, scheduling, social media, networking and continuing to grow the business
- We are looking for someone who will take initiative, is self-motivated, and is willing to work hard
- *Must have a car
Odds/Ends:
- Travel between classes is mandatory so prospective coaches need to have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
- Training and equipment will be provided.
- Background in playing sports is strongly preferred, but it's most important that our coaches love working with young children!
- Experience in a classroom setting is preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
