All Around Town Outdoor Services is a well-established full-service landscaping business with over 25 years of experience. We are seeking a result-driven and energetic Turf Division Business Developer who would be responsible for making initial contact with the client, preparing the estimate, presenting all proposal documents and contracts to the client, completing the sale, and interfacing with complete all business development. Key Responsibilities:
· Attract new business to be completed within company production rates
· Responsible for all steps in the sales process, from cold calls, measuring, estimating, closing the sale, and creating the job in our system
· Direct hands-on approach to working with prospective clients, as well as existing clients, to ensure customer satisfaction and promote add-on sales
· Communicate effectively with clients and the Turf Division Crews to understand their vision, provide updates, and address any concerns or changes in the scope of service requested
· Work as the account manager to assist with scheduling of crews and jobs, adjusting where needed
· Develop business within 75-mile radius from our home office in Davenport, IA, but not limited to
· Understand and comply with company policies, procedures, protocols, and SOPs
· During peak season, long days and weekends are to be expected (March 31 – November 31)
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable on company insurance
· Self-starter, takes the initiative to help grow the company
· Minimum of three years experience in the landscape/grounds maintenance industry
· Excellent time management skills
· Experienced in Google Drive
· Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
· Ability to walk, stand, crouch for extended periods, and conduct strenuous physical activity. Ability to lift 50 pounds
