Summary:
The Turf Division Operations/Account Manager oversees the turf division accounts and crews. This position will perform various work tasks to manage the timely completion of turf maintenance contracts. This position needs a growth-minded individual who is outgoing, punctual, tech-savvy and possesses leadership qualities. The turf crew operations/account manager will involve managing multiple teams of turf workers, coordinating with clients, quality checks on locations, delegating schedules to crews, approving timesheets and materials, and ensuring all work complies with safety and industry regulations. This position will also be involved in the Holiday Lights and Snow division. A valid driver's license is required.

Key Responsibilities:
· Report to the Division manager
· Manage turf crews to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity
· Quality site inspections to ensure all jobs are being completed within the requested scope of work.
· Make detailed requests to the office of any additional work that is noticed upon inspection needed at sites
· Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas.
· Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors to understand their vision, provide updates, and address any concerns or changes in the requested scope of service.
· Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
· Approve time and material within 24 hours of submission from crews
· Ensure crews stay profitable through efficiency and job hour goals
· Travel between our Iowa City and our Quad City branch
· During peak season, long days and weekends are to be expected (March 31 – November 31)
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid driver's license
· Must possess a valid license as a Chemical Applicator, as required by local and state regulations (acquired within min of 60 days of hire)
· Self-starter, takes the initiative to help grow the company
· Minimum of three years experience in the landscape/grounds maintenance industry
· Capable of operating the required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
· Effective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, complete daily reports to office and/or customers
· Detail oriented
· Time management skills
· Experienced in Google Drive
· Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
· Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a team
· Ability to walk, stand, crouch for extended periods, and conduct strenuous physical activity. Ability to lift 50 pounds
