What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at All campuses?
Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems throughout district. Assist with maintenance of grounds, mowing and upkeep of grounds.
Under general supervision, maintain, repair, and install heating and air conditioning systems and equipment throughout the district. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all HVAC systems in district facilities.
Education/Certification
Clear and valid driver's license. CDL with bus driving endorsement highly preferred, or willingness to obtain a CDL.
Criminal background check required.
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in maintaining facilities
- Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and physical exam
- Ability to operate bus or vehicle
- Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures
