Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our GAFC Program. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to program staff, assist with member documentation, scheduling, and communication, and help ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the GAFC Program team and clinical staff.
• Maintain and update member files, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist with intake and enrollment paperwork for new members.
• Schedule home visits and coordinate staff appointments with members.
• Track and maintain data for reporting to regulatory agencies (e.g., MassHealth).
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports as needed.
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with internal audits and help ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Support billing processes by verifying service documentation and time logs.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, social services, or administrative role strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of MassHealth GAFC Program guidelines is a plus.
