Home health aides help clients to live better by providing the care they need to stay healthy and safe at home. They are part of a care delivery team that includes nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers. Home health aides assist with activities of daily living, check vital signs, share conversations, and help clients maintain their comfort and ability to live their lives to the fullest. We service areas as far north as the Merrimack Valley and as far south as Newton/Boston Area.
Hours: Hours up to Full Time, Nights and Weekends.
Qualifications: Home Health Aide Certificate or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certificate. Drivers License and registered vehicle.
Responsibilities: Home Health Aides perform duties as outlined in the Client’s Plan of Care, including:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment
- Obtaining temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration
- Bed, sponge, tub, or shower bathing
- Caring for nails and skin
- Oral hygiene
- Assisting with toileting and elimination
- Preparing and assisting with meals
- Light housekeeping
- Assisting with prescribed exercises
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to follow and carryout written instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work as a team member
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
