What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide Manager position at All Care?
Manages the clinical operations of the Home Health Aide Department. Responsible for the orientation, supervision and evaluation of the Home Health Aide Supervisor, Educator, Home Health Aide QI Nurse, Home Health Aide Field Supervisor and Home Health Aides.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for monitoring the productivity and performance of the HHA Field Supervisor of Private Pay, HHA Field Supervisor, and HHA staff. Oversees the completion of performance evaluations of these staff on a regular and timely basis.
- Motivates staff, ensures productivity expectation is met and offers positive reinforcement
- Provides direction, counseling, conflict management and disciplinary action as necessary.
- Communicates to all staff all changes in agency policy and practice, and ensures that staff understand and follows through on those policies and procedures.
- Ensures all paraprofessional staff received required in-services annually.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving and departmental issues.
- Ensures field supervisions are done in a timely manner. Reviews care plans to determine if a phone I O can be conducted. Assigns field I O’s for initial PCH visit and or review/training of field staff as required.
- Updates Director/VP as required.
- Oversees Private Pay clients to ensure quality care, assign nursing as required and meet needs of client/family.
- Oversees contract cases are filled timely, with quality and all issues are followed up on in a timely manner.
- Oversees visit compliance including, physician order review, MVR and MD notification.
- Investigates any Paraprofessional related allegations of abuse, theft, etc. and documents the follow up and reports to DPH as necessary.
