SALARY RANGE: $44,770 - $59,400 (commensurate with experience)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Development and Communications is a key member of the Development and Communications team. This position supports the successful execution of multiple components of the development and communications plan to ensure increased awareness and growing financial support for All Chicago. This position reports to the Vice President of Development and Communications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the team to create and execute fund development and communications strategies with excellence, including events, appeals, virtual campaigns (Hope for Homes) and other activities.
- Assist in events planning and execution, including staffing events committees, soliciting sponsorships, developing events communication, managing logistics and ticketing software, onsite support, and analyzing results.
- Support Associate Board success by scheduling and coordinating meetings, sending invites, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Assist in donor research, identification, and portfolio management.
- Support the donor acknowledgement process (i.e. preparing, printing and sending thank you letters and tax receipts) and serve as backup for gift processing.
- Maintain All Chicago website including setting and following a schedule for review of pages, monitoring usage statistics, and ensuring technical aspects of the website are functional.
- Maintain All Chicago’s social media presence, creating, finding, and posting relevant content and responding to posts from others as appropriate.
- Provide low-level design of images for social media posts and other projects.
- Assist in the creation of reports, brochures, and other communications for All Chicago.
- Respond to incoming queries submitted via email, website, and social media.
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates will demonstrate commitment to preventing and ending homelessness in Chicago and will have the following:
- Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
- At least one to two years experience in fundraising and/or communication; internship experiences are applicable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams. Familiarity with Monday.com, and Raiser’s Edge NXT systems preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, maintain data and information accuracy, and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly collaborative style; positive attitude; commitment to continuous improvement and strong work ethic grounded in honesty and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional presence, and ability to interact with a diverse audience.
